1964 Fender Vibroverb amplifier, this is a factory 1964 Fender vintage amp not a re-issue, these are one of the most sort after amplifiers on the planet, as most guitar players know it was the favourite amp used by Stevie ray Vaughan and many other guitar players if you can find one of these as they are very rare.
The 1964 vibroverb was only made for 1 year and it came in just one configuration just 1 x 15 inch speaker, this amp has its original grill cloth , many early vintage amps over the years have had the grill cloth replaced but this grill cloth is still in original amazing condition, the black tolex covering is also original and it too is in excellent condition, inside you can see the original paper tube chart still attached, the cabinet inside is in great condition very clean for a amp that’s 52 years old, amp is fitted with a original coned 1960’s original Jensen speaker which sounds really sweet and clean
The amp still has its original spring reverb tank and sounds perfect, i have personally owned this amp for around 30 years, I had the power transformer rewound by one of Australias best vintage amp techs to accept 240 volt power, so no need to carry around a heavy step down power transformer , its been serviced and valves replaced with the best quality valves available.
These are getting very hard to find in this condition, i have searched the world many times and most are beat to hell, and if your lucky enough to find a good one in the usa by the time you pay shipping, service of amp, tranny rewind , and import duties, and take the all risks and hope its a decent amp it will cost way more than the asking price of this original 1964 vibroverb, and rarely will you see one for sale in Australia.
