SOLD…..1966 Fender amplifier, Blackface Super Reverb Vintage amp not reissue,  this amp has been in storage in a private collection for the last 30 years, and has just been serviced and thoroughly checked everything working as it should no issues.

Amp is in very good condition with only minor wear as u can see in pics,  even the original grill cloth is in excellent condition and shows the original Fender black staples, the grill cloth has never been removed, for a amplifier that is 55 years old it is in excellent condition

Back in the 80’s the amp was used in a local blues band and the owner decided to store the original speakers and installed Kendrick speakers during the amps time doing live shows, this preserved the original speakers ,  then when amp was stored back some 30 years ago the original speakers were reinstalled all showing there 66 date codes

The amp has a custom made cover made back in the late 80’s which has protected the amplifier from damage, and it shows,  its obviously not presenting like a new amp but the pics don’t lie you can see its pretty sharp , obviously the owner has taken great care over the years

The amp is also one of the more sort after Export models, so it has a variable switch for changing the power source from say 110 volt to 240 volt,  it is set now to 240 volt,  so no need to carry a external transformer around to adjust power,  when serviced amp was checked and it is putting out 56 watts which is very good for a super reverb

I have tested  thoroughly and speakers are crisp sounding no noise, no rattles, they have that vintage tone,  that sort after vintage fender sound we all love, the typical Stevie ray Vaughan tone,  we know Stevie had that sound all guitarists are chasing he loved Vibroverbs and Fender Super Reverbs,  these are the amps to own, the  Reverb is strong and clear, vibrato is clear and none of that tick sound you sometimes get with vintage amps.

Overall killer amp and if you read this far you know they rarely come up for sale,  and we all know nothing beats the sound of 4 x 10 inch vintage speakers thru a 60’s vintage Fender amp,  every creditable guitarist on the planet plays thru a super reverb, search around doubt you will see another 1966 Blackface Fender super reverb on offer.
